Portable Oxygen Concentrator
One of my good friends who is pushing in the 80’s requires that he constantly carry around a portable oxygen concentrator. I initially felt bad that he had to but he explained to me that due to the portability of the oxygen concentrator, he was now able to function as a normal human being. It shows great awareness on his part and humility on mine. It is devastating but he is right, it does keep him mobile and active in an otherwise unfriendly environment.
