Addressing an Alcoholic
It is definitely a hard job to go and address someone who is an alcoholic…especially when that alcoholic is in your own family. The best thing for you to do is to ensure that they first realize that you have their best interest at heart and feel that they have changed over time. The initial response from someone who is affected will state that is not the case. Be honest and upfront. Most importantly, be sincere in your convictions and hopefully they can see things the way you do. Once they do realize they have a problem, find a good alcohol rehab clinic that they can go to.
