I have to give it up to the soldiers who are currently serving in Iraq. They take the beating from our GOP because they keep extending their tours and by democrates who are so against the war they forget to specify and differentiate between the war and supporting the troops. Even after all of that, they come home usually with a physical and mental ailment and end up in society after coming from war. I don’t think it takes a genius to know that going from a war to home without being broken down and built up as a citizen will cause instability. There are so many that I know personally who have either died or came back with PTSD. They end up drinking doing something stupid and end up in jail because our leaders don’t think it should be our job to take care of them (see Walter Reed foul ups)
