John Edwards
I have been looking intently at the three presidential hopefuls Clinton, Obama, and John Edwards. While I have been vocal of the first two I have yet to provide any input on Edwards and I think I am not the only one confused about Edwards. I think that Edwards has a very strong chance at getting elected president. The first thing that gets thrown at me is that he is not a “change” in the political stream of presidents. He is as WASP as any previous president has been. Obama and Clinton will defiantly be a change for the Country (not politically but by color and sex). I think that many people downplay the fact that there is a change when referring to either Clinton or Obama but they are trying not to labeled “racist or sexist” but I think in the true of true, people are scared of them. Edwards gives them a third candidate that wont be too much of a change. He currently received the backing of United mineworkers and United steelworkers of America. I think if the other two are not careful he may take the lead by comfort and really that’s what Americans are all about!
