Hilary’s new Health Care Plan Cool @ first

I have to admit, when I heard that she was looking to get everyone on some sort of health plan, it sparked my interest.  Primarily because I agree with her notion that everyone does need some sort of health care (whether you want to call it socialized health care or not I really don’t care) but I believe that I started to not like it when she didn’t explain that the money would go directly to private organizations (which I believe is the crux of the health care issue in the first place).  So what that means is everyone is required to have health insurance but the private companies can charge as much as they want and they will also benefit from tax credits given to people who are poor.  That’s another thing that gets me, I recall when my family was pretty damn poor and I don’t remember paying taxes because we didn’t make enough money to claim taxes.  I have no idea how poor people who get all of their money back on taxes will actually benefit from the tax credit.  I would suspect that is more for the middle of the road individuals.  I think that it can be a mess if not handled correctly and I also believe that these sappy insurance companies need to get a good beating before we put any universal health care plan on the line.  I just don’t understand her logic in this scenario.  I think that there needs to be more government over-watch on these insurance companies before the health care system is in the gutter….oh wait, it already is!
