Allied Pakistan President Sweeps Vote

According to sources (heres one) President Pervez Musharraf swept almost all of the votes necessary for him to become the continuing president for Pakistan (which is arguably our closest ally in the fight on the war on terrorism). In fact, his recent issues were stemming from his staunch support of the US (and removal of a justice which sparked it) Fortunately, he will be able to keep his position once they come back with a ruling from the Supreme court to confirm that his big was legal. He has officially removed his military stature and is going for a all in civilian rule for Pakistan. This also gives us an indication that the people of Pakistan actually do like the President and his policy. I think this shows that even though there were street fighting by people the overall populous of Pakistan do like Pervez Musharraf and I tend to agree with their assessment. I think he is a good leader (especially coming from the previous two who had been horribly corrupt) and I didn’t hear him speak until the Daily Show with John Stewart and then once again on NPR. He shows vision and perception usually not found from a military leader. Now we play the waiting game.
