Al Gore Running As a Presidental Nominee!
Gore hasn’t mentioned much but his backers would like to try it anyway! Various sources are stating that the people who are backing Gore have been raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to draft him into the Democratic Presidential Primaries!! This has got to be unprecedented. I don’t think anyone has gotten that much money from people who don’t even know if he will be running. The committee is called Draft Gore and it has been trying to get Gore into the race ever since his absurd loss to Bush in 2000. I think that EVERYONE will agree that our democratic system was off course that year when Gore clearly one the election and the Supreme court horribly made the decision to give it to Bush. Don’t get me started. It was one of the few times I thought “hmm, maybe my vote really doesn’t make a difference” (sigh). I hate thinking that way! I digress. The recent advertisements state that he has an obligation to run and pull the country from whichever hole they fell into when Bush took the country over. Gore’s people are saying he will probably not run but he has been very sly in throwing his bid into the presidency. He is also in the running to win a Nobel Peace Prize. With a NPP in hand I think there will be good chance that he will run. And with that behind him, he just might win (again) and actually be given the opportunity to turn the country in the right direction!
